Irrigation that waters the plants, not the sidewalk
Most irrigation problems we see in Spring Hill and around Tampa Bay are not a lack of water. They are water in the wrong place: a rotor spraying the street, a zone that runs as long as the shady side yard needs but not as long as the sunny front lawn needs, or a broken head that floods one corner while the rest of the zone turns brown. We design, install and repair sprinkler and drip systems so each zone gets the amount its plants actually use.
What we do
- New system installation. Zone layout by sun exposure and plant type, sprinklers and rotors matched within each zone, valves, piping and a controller set to your local watering days.
- Sprinkler repair. Broken or stuck heads, leaking valves, cracked pipe, zones that will not turn on or will not shut off, and wiring faults between the controller and the valves.
- Drip irrigation. Drip lines and emitters for planting beds, hedges and containers, so water goes straight to the roots instead of the leaves and the mulch.
- System audits. We run every zone, check coverage and pressure, and give you a written list of what needs fixing and what can wait.
- Upgrades and retrofits. Adding or splitting zones after a landscape change, converting beds from spray to drip, and moving heads that hit walls, windows or the road.
Signs your system needs attention
- Brown or dry patches in a lawn that is otherwise green.
- Puddles, soggy spots or water running down the gutter while a zone is on.
- A water bill that jumped without a change in your schedule.
- Heads that mist instead of spray, which usually means the pressure is too high.
- Rust-colored stains on walls and walkways, common when a system runs on well water.
- A zone that does not start, or one that keeps running after the controller says it is off.
How a project works
- Site visit. We walk the property with you, run the existing zones and note sun, shade, slopes and plant types.
- Written proposal. A clear scope and price before any work starts. For repairs, we explain the cause, not just the part.
- Installation or repair. We trench carefully, restore the turf we disturb and test every zone with you before we leave.
- Controller setup. Run times set by zone and season, within the watering days allowed where you live.
Built for Florida watering rules
Hernando County and most of the Tampa Bay area fall under the Southwest Florida Water Management District, which limits the days and hours you can run an irrigation system. Florida law (section 373.62 of the Florida Statutes) also requires automatic systems to have a rain sensor or similar shutoff device, so the system skips a cycle when it has already rained. We set up every system to work within these rules, and we can check whether your current controller and sensor are doing their job.
Spray, rotor or drip?
Spray heads suit small lawn areas and narrow strips. Rotors cover larger lawns with slower, more even water that soaks in instead of running off. Drip is the right choice for beds, hedges and trees, where overhead spray wastes water and wets leaves. A good design keeps each type in its own zone, so a bed is never watered on a lawn schedule.
Frequently asked questions
Can you repair a system another company installed?
Yes. We work on most common residential and commercial brands. If parts are no longer made, we tell you the options before replacing anything.
How long does a new installation take?
It depends on the size of the property and the number of zones. We give you a time estimate in the written proposal, before you commit.
Do you work with well water?
Yes. Many homes in Spring Hill irrigate from a well. If your system runs on a pump, see our pumps and smart controllers page as well.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Our team is bilingual, so you can talk through the project in English or Spanish.
